Publishing at Texas State
The Texas State Undergraduate Research Journal, otherwise known as TXSTUR, provides an outlet for undergraduates in all disciplines to publish original work. We encourage students to submit excellent papers written for classes, research supported by the Undergraduate Research Fellowships, adapted portions of their theses or capstone projects, or any other research-based writing they believe is of publishable merit.
All TXSTUR articles are peer-reviewed by a student editorial board and a faculty expert. TXSTUR is currently published online and in print.

The Texas Philosophical is an annual journal that accepts submissions from undergraduates and graduate students across the state of Texas. Submissions can be made on all philosophy related topics.
Submission deadlines each year are by noon on May 30th of the current calendar year.
All Texas Philosophical articles are peer-reviewed by experts in the field.

Publishing Outside of Texas State
The Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity
UReCA: The NCHC Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity is the official undergraduate journal of the National Collegiate Honors Council. Submissions are accepted from students currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program . UReCA fosters the exchange of ideas between undergraduate students, providing a platform where students can engage with, and contribute to, the advancement of their individual fields. UReCA has published five editions to date and continues to work toward the dissemination of meaningful undergraduate work.
Any student currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program is eligible to submit, and submissions are welcome from any institution in the United States and abroad.
